Neal Goldberg is a guitarist and singer-songwriter upholding the spirit of a vagabond and storyteller. He’s played in cafe’s, clubs, bar’s, street corners and amphitheater’s on 4 different continents.

Edgy, raw and spontaneous, Neal’s original songs are about heartache, failure, love, and home, all mixed in with the current socio-economic pressures of the times.

A composer, arranger, producer, teacher and most of all, a performer, Neal has been playing for over 20 years. A distinct blend of old school blues, jazz and American folk, his guitar-playing has infamously made many cry in joy.

Always working on the next project, his latest endeavors see him in Boise, Idaho opening for the likes of Gill Landry, Steve Fulton, and The Shook Twins, with the newly formed outfit Thistledown. In this project Neal is lending his guitar skills to a Deering Solana 6 string Banjo and a Veillete 12 String guitar, along with his usual bag of tricks.
